INTEGRATED
FAKESPACE GLOVE & LOGITECH TRACKER IMAGE
No complicated gesture recognition algorithms
are required, so it is easy to integrate Pinch into your application.
Sensors in each fingertip detect contact
between the digits of either hand. You can use these gestures for a wide range
of control and interactive functions. The gestures are not dependent on
individual hand geometry Pinch never requires calibration.
The Pinch system includes a pair of gloves,
interface electronics, user's guide, tracker mounts, and software. The RS-232
interface allows the Pinch to be used with virtually any workstation or
personal computer. Gloves are also available individually in personal sizes
and colors.
Gesture space:
Contact among any 2 or more digits i.e. left
forefinger to right forefinger i.e. right thumb to right forefinger and right
middle finger
The gloves detect when two or more digits come
in contact. After the contact is verified it is sent to the host. The time
since the last gesture is also sent.
Requires no calibration.
Communications:
Simple R5232 protocol communicates gesture
information and delta time stamps. Dip-switch selectable baud rates including
9600 and 1 9200. Sample source code is available for either SOI or PC
platforms.
Power:
1 2OVAC 11W to 9V wall transformer 2.1 mm Plug
